Membership (Indian Registry) Mission Statement:
To ensure membership records are maintained by submitting events such as births, marriages, divorces, deaths to Indian & Northern Affairs on a monthly basis, once proper documents are obtained. Ensuring documents are complete for request for transfer then submitting them to Regional Office. Updating database and keeping registry pages up to date as well as individual files for each member. Provide monthly population report for Managers. Assisting with inquiries regarding Bill C-31 reinstatements and genealogy research when possible. Issuing status cards both in the office and out to the communities when requested. Maintaining Band Lists for eight of the Bands.
